As a Systems Engineer/Administrator, you will be part of an Agile “BizDevOps” squad (i.e. team) within the Financial Crime Compliance (FCC) tribe (i.e. department).
The squad you will join is delivering the Sanctions Screening product which screens messages against sanctions lists, contributing to the fight against financial crime. Our ~700 customers include mainly small and medium size banks from all over the world, resulting on about 400.000 transactions screened daily.
This product is built on various technologies: Java, C++, Shell. The current scope is set on several technical migrations: rebuilding the deployment pipeline towards a solution using RHEL VMs, Oracle 19c, Ansible and Jenkins.
Our squad is looking for a Systems Engineer/Administrator who will be responsible for the design, analysis, development, maintenance, validation and deployment of the team’s applications and solutions. You will contribute to the technical migrations as well as ensure the quality of the deliverables by performing peer reviews and self-validations.

The Financial Crime Compliance (FCC) tribe’s mission is to provide our customers the best tools and services to detect and manage financial crime and compliance risks. FCC manages the end-to-end delivery of: Sanctions/Transaction Screening, Name Screening, List Management, Sanctions Testing, Payment Controls Services. We are evolving our services and coverage to address the new challenges of ISO 20022 and the constant evolution of the compliance landscape.
What to expect
As a Systems Engineer/Administrator you will build and maintain scripts to automate software deployments using Ansible and RedHat Linux platforms. You will help the team migrating components and the Oracle database to newer versions. Being comfortable with basic system administration skills is highly recommended: using HPUX/Linux, networking, security, monitoring, scripting, etc.
You will be working closely with internal customers, technical analysts, and other engineers to develop the compliance portfolio. You will ensure the gathering of technical market insights and customer needs, combine that with your expertise and you will stay focus on continuous improvement to deliver key product improvements to achieve customer satisfaction having the end-to-end ownership of your daily activities.
