Job description

For one of our clients in Brussels, we are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer.
You will be responsible for setting up & running the CI/CD pipelines for the domain and for orchestrating the different releases.

What you'll do

• Create and maintain a CI/CD system for the domain.
  o Jenkins, Groovy, GIT, ANT, Linux, IntelliJ (for GIT)
  o Good knowledge of GIT and GIT branching
  o Good knowledge of Jenkins and Groovy pipelines
  
• Supporting the Dev people in using GIT
  o Be the GIT Release Manager for the SF&CS Domain.
  o Making sure merges are correctly done, and releases are ready for installation and backporting to other environments.
  o Releases itself are done by Release Anchors, since typically many pre and post deploy steps are required.
  o Bring Teams together to solve build and GIT conflicts.
  
• Migrate several applications from RHEL7 to new RHEL8 boxes on the new Cumulus Network.
  o Technically list, organise, plan and execute the steps
  o Reporting on the progress.
  
• Migrate several applications from VM’s to Openshift.
  o Technically list, organise, plan and execute the steps
  o Reporting on the progress
• Follow up a Dynatrace and Splunk enablement Program
  o Technically list, organise, plan and execute the steps
  o Reporting on the progress.
• Ops SPOC for the UNICA (Cloud) application
  o Release Management
  o Incident Management
  o Problem Management

Profile

• 8 years+ experience in software development
• experience in telecommunication environment is an asset
  

Required skills

• Technical skills:
  
  - Jenkins, Groovy, GIT, ANT, Linux, IntelliJ (for GIT)
  - No knowledge of Salesforce or Cloudsense is required.
  - Good knowledge of GIT and GIT branching is a huge plus
  - Good knowledge of Jenkins and Groovy pipelines is a huge plus.
