Job description

As an End-to-End Designer for a major Telecom operator in Belgium and abroad, your key responsibility is to design fiber and copper infrastructure using AUTOCAD and GIS/QGIS in your designated area. You will be expected to analyze and modify existing designs to align with the current and future network configurations. You will also be responsible for distributing the network designs and making necessary adjustments based on feedback from field teams.

We are searching for candidates in Mons (3 positions), Brugge (2) and Liége (1).

What you'll do

• The main function is to design the cable network, fiber optic and copper. The goal is to achieve an optimal infrastructure at the best price.
  
  
• RESPONSABILITIES
  You are responsible for the complete design file from start to finish (including drawings).
  
  Continuous adaptation and extension of our fibre and copper networks in order to respond to internal triggers (network optimization and/or extension, infrastructure renewal, Fiber-to-the-home roll-out, Fiber-to-the-business roll-out) or external triggers (road works, housing estates, industrial zoning, customer requests) by systematically taking into account other possible triggers i

Required skills

• TECHNICAL SKILLS
  You are familiar with Autocad.
  Being familiar with QGIS is an added value.
  You are familiar with MS Office: Windows, Word, Excel and Access.
  You are familiar with the IT applications used by NFA (eJMS, ABR, ITR, IFH, KBS, IVP...).
  Good understanding of telecommunications in general, our network and customer connectivity.
