Job description

Our client is a prominent air and ground logistics operator based in Brussels. We are seeking a skilled IT Application Specialist with a passion for aviation to join a second line support team. This team addresses functional and technical issues pertaining to applications used for air and ground logistics operations. Disruptions in these applications can lead to delays in both air and ground movements, potentially impacting global operations. Consequently, the majority of these applications are highly crucial for the business and mission.

What you'll do

• Main Critical Application are:
  • Sable : Aircraft Weight and Balance application
  • GOALS : Digital aircraft load and offload system
  • NMIV : Network Movement view application for Air and Ground
  • Netline : air fleet Scheduling, Operations and Slot management application
  • TMS : European Ground Transport (Trucks) schedule application
  • Middleware : Connecting all these applications (messaging wise)
  • Calms : Commercial Air Management Application (used by our partner Airline companies)
  
• What we do :
  • Support on incidents, problem and change management
  • User assistance for application functionality issues and knowledge
  • Application technical error analyses and reporting
  • EIM (Emergency Incident Management): Stand by services to coordinate critical situations with applications
  • Monitoring of application availability and messaging interface interruption
  • Application configuration requests
  • Application User account management
  • Application and messaging testing ver

Required skills

• We require :
  • Basic understanding of the movement operations (air & ground)
  • Experience as Field Operations, Service Desk Agent is an advantage.
  • Basic knowledge of Aviation IT Application portfolio
  • Can do mentality.
