Job description

As part of this organization, the Vice President, Security & Cyber innovation is responsible for supporting the Senior Vice President in
(i) creating compelling narratives for Cyber & Intelligence solutions targeted for the different customer segments
(ii) support development of 5-year strategy for C&I in Europe and
(iii) review internal communication of C&I (Quarterly Business Reviews) and developing a rea which we can offer to customers across Europe.

This role will work closely with internal teams, in Europe, Global and with the market teams. This role will be a contingent role providing support to the SVP on key strategic initiatives like
(i) creating compelling solution narratives
(ii) creative narratives for different segments (Financial Services, Acquirers, Merchants)
(iii) creating execution plans for key strategic initiatives.

What you'll do

  • Be responsible for developing the 5-year strategy for C&I Europe
  • Create a plan for executives of key strategic initiatives, including go-to-market - Digital Receipts, Subscription Management, Next generation of Authentication
  • Conduct market research and market sizing for key strategic initiatives
  • Create compelling communication documents for key updates to European leadership, Divisions and to global teams
  • Work with cross functional teams to integrate the different products with each other and create overall storylines key other teams to work with are the C&I Consumer Facing Product Teams and the Digital Teams.
  • Develop and implement go-to-market strategies across target C&I solution bundles in partnership with other Mastercard consumer facing product teams
  • Engage with the various divisional expert teams and sales teams to build out a detailed go-to market plan for the European region.

Profile

  • This position requires extensive experience at Strategy Firms like Bain, BCG, McKinsey, or such like firms. Ideally consulting experience in strategy development space and some exposure to operational improvement projects
  • Person ideally has payment experience either via projects, experience at Issuer, Acquirer or Merchants
  • Very Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with Project Management and planning skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with an ability to identify key issues, structure analysis and synthesize large amounts of data, and provide recommendations effectively
  • Highly collaborative and self-driven individual who is a fast learner and has experience in interim product management roles
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills to influence and build credibility, team oriented, collaborative, diplomatic, and flexible
