Job description

The Network Relations Officer is responsible for coordinating all parties in the design, management, and maintenance of the cable network.
This communication role requires handling contact and negotiations with all parties involved in the network installation projects in their assigned region. The Officer acts as the primary point of contact between the client and external entities such as cities, developers, and utility companies.

We are seeking professionals in Gent (3 positions), Brugge, Hasselt, Liège/Luik, and Libramont-Chevigny.

Fluency in either Dutch or French (based on region) and functional English is required.

What you'll do

• He/she is the first line of contact between our client and all external parties such as the cities & communes, the project developers, and all other utility companies.
  
  This is both a very pro-active position where he/she will have to be aware of the upcoming works, where and when, planned in the region. But also reactive, where he/she will be responsible for maintaining regular contact and good relations with all parties involved (city halls, other utility companies, etc.)

• Education & Experience
  
  - Bachelor’s degree (IT, Surveying, geography or similar) or equivalent relevant experience
  - Experience in the telecom (or electricity) world is beneficial
  - Previous experience in road works and/or utility works is beneficial
  
  - Sales and account manager profiles are welcome

Required skills

• Technical Skills:
  
  - VolVCA certification
  - Good knowledge of AutoCad, QGIS or similar (welcome but not mandatory)
  - Good knowledge of MS Office
  
  Soft Skills:
  - Ability to negotiate between different internal & external parties
  - Strong interest and/or experience in the telecom world
  - Ability to approach a technical issue with an analytical mind
