Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our client in the automotive components industry.
In this role, you will be responsible for reading, interpreting, and producing legal documentation to ensure that our company is operating in compliance with all relevant regulations, with focus on the EU legal framing and new technologies.
It is a 3-month mission, to start ASAP. We seek either a technical profile with legislative knowledge or a someone with a background in law with technical knowledge. The ideal candidate has to be fluent in English and, other languages like French, Dutch or Japanese are welcome.

Profile

• 1. Study and analyze regulations, legislations, directives and case law relating to product certification (EU & UN)
  2. Attend key events and conferences to gather information and report
  3. Lead research activity related to regulatory and regulation developments that may affect our product compliance
  4. Attend events and meetings, participate in working groups/expert groups
  5. Work to increase communication and cooperation with Regulatory and Tech Administration Planning in EU, US & Japan

Required skills

• - Able to read, interpret and write official documents (regulations, legislations, position papers, etc.)
  - General knowledge about EU legislation related automotive industry (WP29, EU regulations and directives, EuroNcap, Euro 7, etc) [internal training possible]
  - Communication skills - verbal and written
  - Accurate data collection, management and analysis
  - Ability to consolidate acquired information in a visual/ comprehensive manner for effective interfacing;
