Job description

As a solutions analyst you will take a holistic view of any project, the way a business analyst would do. You’ll start by looking at processes and try to identify potential improvements that can help to deliver organizational goals.

The solutions analyst will roll up his/her sleeves and get involved in the tech infrastructure. you might review code, examine database structures, and look at system integrations. If the project requires some coding, the analyst will work with developers to create what’s needed.

As solution analyst, you focus on specific business needs. Leaders might have identified something that’s missing, like combining data sources or offering new functionality to users. As a solution analysts you will work on a solution to that problem, such as implementing a data pipeline or building a user-facing app.

What you'll do

• Talk to stakeholders and develop a functional requirements specification
• Analyze and map all relevant business processes and IT infrastructure
• Research any rules that might impact solution delivery, such as compliance, data governance, or organizational mandates.
• Make recommendations for solutions that deliver organizational goals
• Assist in the design, development, and testing of solutions
• Report to stakeholders and senior IT leaders throughout the project lifecycle

Profile

• Education: You have a bachelors degree or equivalent by experience in a business, economic, marketing or IT related domain
• IT Knowledge: You have knowledge or experience in one or more of the following Tech/IT Domains (Infrastructure / Software Development / Functional or Process Analysis)
• Knowledge or experience of Databases and Database Design.
• Knowledge of modeling principles like UML or BPMN...
• You are a critical and creative thinker and not afraid to think out of the box.
• You are well spoken in English and Dutch.
