Job description
About Zentrick:

Hi, we’re Zentrick! We’re a SaaS scale-up based in Merelbeke, Belgium and New York City.

Whenever you watch a video ad on the Web, there’s a good chance that Zentrick’s technology is in there. We specialize in optimizing the delivery of those ads: we plug in tech from our customers, such as fraud detection or visual overlays, and while we’re at it, we also make the ad load faster.

We’re a full-stack JavaScript company. In the browser, that means React, Angular, and a lot of vanilla ECMAScript as well. On the server side, we run billions of requests through Node.js; we also like Go a lot. For our tests, we use Karma and AVA on CircleCI. Our infrastructure runs primarily on AWS and we manage it with Terraform. We also heavily use Git and GitHub.

We’re a small team that shoots for the stars. Everyone at Zentrick contributes to the success of our cutting-edge technology. In return, we provide a friendly atmosphere where our team can learn fast and exchange knowledge. Additionally, everyone gets to broaden their horizons by spending half a day per week on personal development.

About you:

If you love a good challenge, the video ad tech ecosystem is for you. We spend a lot of time optimizing for scale and performance, as well as getting to the bottom of complex issues.

It’s great if you already know everything there is to know about JavaScript and the Web, but it’s not a strict requirement by any means. If you understand software engineering—preferably through a Master’s degree—, we’ll help you understand our stack. We’d also love to learn from your experience in other fields.

Likewise, experience in ad tech helps. Rest assured though, working with us is another great way to learn all about how video ads end up on your screen.

We’re committed to delivering high quality through agile development. If you’ve already done pair programming, code reviews, and daily stand-ups, you’ll probably fit right in.

We’re looking for a team player with a strong personality. It’s through the continuous exchange of ideas and even the occasional heated debate that we usually reach the best decisions for our product, our customers, and our team.

Finally, we pride ourselves on our excellent relationship with our customers. Maintaining that relationship is a big part of the job, through frequent conversations and by going the extra mile to truly understand the customer’s needs.

What's in it for you?
  • a competitive wage;
  • a generous vacation schedule;
  • flexible working hours;
  • a personalized growth plan;
  • group insurance;
  • hospitalization insurance;
  • meal vouchers;
  • eco vouchers;
  • compensation for public transportation and biking;
  • extras tailored to your preference.
