Job description
Help defining the digital vision for Medical and HE in particular and translate that vision into concrete strategic steps
• Based on inputs from business stakeholders, make a diagnosis and propose options, then determine priorities and start project(s) that support key strategic priorities
• After technical feasibility analysis, recommend optimal digital platforms and solutions facilitating insightful, data-led decision making
• Engage with R&D Medical (including Global, Regional & LOCs Medical Directors) to ensure operational roll-out by accompanying teams in its digital transformation (tools, choice of performance indicators, structure, process, ...)
• Coordinate the implementation with relays from IT, and others according to the necessities
• Deploy awareness-raising initiatives and demonstrate the power of achievable results (efficiency, performance, innovation, ...)
• Promote digital modes in his way of working
• Oversight of external vendors in line with the digital strategy (including technical assessment of proposal)
• To be the guardian of the coherence of the digital activities of the departments
• Be at the forefront of technological developments and ensure the eve
• Coordinate and coach his team
• Disseminate and share progress in the company
• Leverage the high-quality science produced in R&D Medical with the right technology to reach the target audience in the most impactful and direct way
• Translate complex scientific evidence into visually impactful digital solutions and messages for the medical and commercial teams manage digital platforms that support key business
Profile
  • Language: English, French, other language is a +
  • Fluency in digital tactics and key channels (e.g. mobile, website)
  • Understanding of the broader digital landscape including new and emerging channels
  • Role requires directly or indirectly (medical, health economics, regulatory, marketing) developing digital programs and tools
  • Experience : minimum 7+ years
  • Proven track record of leading digital solutions projects within the pharmaceutical, technical, research or engineering domains. Demonstrated record of successfully achieving milestones and deliverable
  • Good team worker but also autonomous, accountable with regular reporting to hierarchy
  • Proven client facing skills
  • Fine-tuned influencing and negotiation skills with internal partners and external vendors
  • Budget conscious • Effective communication. Fluent in written and spoken English
  • Ability to deal with changes and project revisions
  • Strong mindset on legal, regulatory and compliance requirements
  • Stress-resistant and positive attitude
  • Master in (Applied) Economics, + Master in ICT (information and communication technology)
  • University level or equivalent experience + marketing communications
