Job description
Medior buyer outsourcing" service within the Outsourcing unit, in the Purchasing department.

The Outsourcing unit manages suppliers and calls for tenders for the following studies:
1. Studies Posts : High Voltage (HV) - Low Voltage (LV) - Civil Works (CW)

2. Cable studies: Traditional contracting (classic study) - Study and Contracting - FAT and SAT

3. Studies Lines : Pylons

The Outsourcing unit also manages service contracts for negotiators, site supervisors, safety coordinators, engineering experts, etc.
What you’ll do
  • Within the unit, you are responsible for the entire chain relating to the Outsourcing of tasks:
  • Outsourcing procedure :
    - Organization of tenders for studies
    - Analysis of offers with the internal customer, negotiation and award
    - Preparation of purchase orders
    - Support for European calls for tenders
  • Supplier panel management
    - Research and meeting new suppliers
    - Verification of the adequacy between forecasts and suppliers' capacity
    - Monitoring the performance of current suppliers
  • Reporting
    - Orders and possible amendments
    - Performance and efficiency
    - From the supplier panel
  • In order to carry out all these tasks, you have the support of your colleague and senior buyer.
Profile
  • Bachelor/Master's degree in economics or purchasing
  • Real interest in technology and business sector
  • French-speaking or Dutch-speaking with excellent level of Dutch/French (B2) and good knowledge of English (min B1)
  • Relevant professional experience in purchasing technical services is a prerequisite, motivation and positive spirit will also be valued
  • Good communication, empathy and willingness to learn
  • Able to work independently and in collaboration with other internal departments
  • Proactively review existing methods and, if necessary, reform them to improve the way of working
  • Analytical mind for reporting, ability and curiosity to understand what the figures mean
  • Knowledge of SAP / Ariba is an advantage
