Job description

Our client is a major player of the packaging industry. Their headquarter is in Ghent regio and through mergers and acquisitions, they now are providing their goods and packaging expertise in different countries around Europe.

As part of the latest acquisitions, they are now aiming at gathering all data from their various locations (19), extract and transform the data into a Datawarehouse located in a cloud solution (Azure) to produce reports for the group as well as the different locations.

To achieve that, they are looking forward to hiring a senior consultant who will be responsible for building the data warehouse from scratch and be responsible for the whole project. The general environment is set up, but this resource will lead, implement and execute the project.

Skills and requirements:

Senior data consultant with track record of success in building a data warehouse
Certifications or professional knowledge of cloud solutions (Azure is a huge plus)
Experience with Timextender or similar
Experience with Power BI
Languages: Dutch and English
Regio: Ghent
Scope of the project: Mainly Belgium, some trips might be required occasionally.
