Join our outstanding client in the Utilities Industry in their exciting work on Smart City solutions as a Solution Architect. As a solution architect, you play an essential role in the design and implementation of a scalable, secure, and efficient solution. You work closely with teams and equipment providers to design the end-to-end solution and oversee the implementation process. What you'll do

• Lead the architecture and evolution of an IoT solution based on an existing solution, including connectivity of field equipment as well as interconnections between different platforms that make up the future solution.
  
• Collaborate with stakeholders to refine requirements and define technical specifications for IoT projects and contribute to building the solution roadmap.
  
• Participate in defining the migration steps from the current situation to the new solution, taking into account various constraints (operating solution, supplier roadmap, etc.).
  
• Evaluate supplier solutions and software architectures, platforms, technologies, and other offerings, and make recommendations to inform decisions.
  
• Prepare and maintain High Level Design documents, architecture models, and other technical documents; assess the results to be achieved and other solution development documents.
  
• Ensure scalability, reliability, and security of the IoT solution.
  
• Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in the field of Internet of Things and related areas in public lighting.
  
• Provide technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle: trusted technical opinion leader regarding technologies, architectural styles, models, and practices.
  
• Get to the heart of issues by proposing naturally simple solutions that are easy to understand, implement, and maintain.

Profile

• You hold a master's degree or equivalent experience and have at least ten years of experience in software engineering, including at least five years in a software architecture or solution architecture role.
  
• You speak French. Knowledge of English is a plus.
  
• Desired experience in solution architecture based on composite solutions, with emphasis on fault tolerance, recoverability, performance, interoperability, and other desirable non-functional requirements.
  
• Desired experience in developing IoT solutions and/or projects involving integration aspects with packaged software or external solutions, or different technological platforms.
  
• Knowledge of integration, including experience in designing solutions around APIs and SSO implementations.
  
• Good understanding of product management, Agile principles, and development methodologies.
