To meet our future challenges for our Digital Industries division, we are looking for an internal sales engineer for our Drives & Motion division. You will be part of a very dynamic team that specializes in motors & drives for different sectors, such as steel, chemistry, ...

Your main mission is to develop technical/commercial offers/quotations in the field of our motors and drive systems. Offering telephone assistance to customers.
What you’ll do
  • Studying customer specifications and needs
  • Dimensioning of the suitable components (motors & frequency drives)
  • Preparation of technical / commercial offers.
  • Providing technical support to customers by phone
  • Commercial explanation of quotations made by telephone
  • Internal order processing support
  • Development of technical documentation
  • Sporadic customer visits related to projects or building/maintaining long-term relationships
  • Who are my contacts?
    Internally, you have close contact with the Account Manager and the Sales Engineers, as well as with our internal specialists and product specialists, both at home and abroad (mainly Germany).
    Externally, you have mainly telephone contact with customers from various sectors.
Profile
  • You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree (industrial engineer electromechanics) or equivalent through experience.
  • You are passionate about engineering
  • You are fluent bilingual (Dutch/French), both verbally and in writing.
  • You have a good knowledge of the English language. Knowledge of German is an asset.
  • Competencies: team player, communicative, customer-oriented, analytical ability, sense of initiative, creativity, organisational ability
