The Customer Services Unit offers customers in the rail mobility industry a unique solutions portfolio over the entire lifecycle. The measures range from reliable supply of spare parts to smart data services – like real-time monitoring of trains and Infrastructure, prediction of wear and comprehensive analysis of complex vehicle and signalling problems.
Customer Services Unit Belgium supports service-related topics for the Mobility division for the Market of Belgium and Luxembourg. Customer Services aims to make rail operations even more efficient with innovative technologies at all levels (Rolling stock and Rail Infrastructure) and providing our customers with excellent maintenance services.
The present position is situated in the domain of the Siemens rail control system called ‘EBP’ and in use, nation-wide, for the Belgian rail infrastructure manager. A team of specialized IT resources is supporting the customer in the management and maintenance of this nation-wide IT system. This consist of helping the customer in the definition of new architecture (network/hardware/IT security) as well as in doing all the necessary preventive (from cleaning activities to roll-out of new SW upgrades and renewal of hardware) and corrective maintenance work in the different computer rooms and control rooms.
