Job description

Java developer role!

We are looking for a competent Java software engineer to join our On-Premises tribe, the tribe developing on-premises server applications that connect businesses to financial networks.

Based in Belgium, you will be working as a member of a dynamic team that is responsible for end-to-end delivery – from customer engagement to operations.

With your strong analytical skills, you're able to understand a complex legacy codebase quickly and enjoying the challenge of making such codebase leaner. An agile mindset, adhering to high quality standards such as high code coverage, pair-programming and peer review. Containerization or build orchestration knowledge is a plus.

What you'll do

  • You will design, develop, test (including automated integration and regression) and integrate new features, components and improvements to compliance products. Specifically the FAIM squad puts its focus on the configuration and integration aspects for the Alliance Messaging Hub software, covering a wide range of functionalities of this product.
  • You will use a range of proven technologies (mainly Java on Linux) with lots of room for experimentation (for example container orchestration, CI/CD tooling…) to bring true value to our customers.
  • You will have the opportunity to be and develop yourself and others as full-stack engineers covering software architecture, development, quality assurance, security, operations and IT infrastructure aspects.
  • You will work in a truly international environment with main hubs across 3 continents.
