Job description

As part of the Network Build and Mass Rollout/regional delivery department, we are responsible for expanding the network in the Flanders region. What you'll do

• For construction and relocation projects involving coaxial and fiber optic networks in your region, you will be responsible for designing the coaxial network and its associated infrastructure.
• You deliver finished files to your colleagues in the field, and your work helps them get the job done, which you can see on the streets.
• You combine work from home, the office, and the field. Project-related coordination meetings and on-site visits make your analyses strong and concrete.
• You use graphic tools to create your high-level design.
• You monitor the project priorities within your portfolio.
• You regularly communicate with low-level engineers who work on the detailed design for you. You validate the delivered detailed design, resulting in an executable project.
• You discuss each individual project with the site coordinator responsible for its execution.

Profile

• You have a bachelor's degree in telecom or construction, or your experience makes your knowledge equivalent.
• Knowledge of design and drawing tools is a plus, but we provide extensive on-the-job training and guidance in any case. Dutch/French and English, written and spoken, are not a problem.
• Quickly and thoroughly assessing situations, identifying problems, and offering solutions is one of your strengths.
• Independently and conscientiously setting priorities, managing your agenda, and documenting your files.
• Traveling for meetings does not deter you.

Required skills

• Communication with both internal and external contacts is essential.
• Knowledge of the utility sector and infrastructure works in the public domain is a plus.
• Technical knowledge of coaxial networks and FTTH networks is a plus.
• you have the right attitude to provide solution-oriented responses regarding network changes, experience with reading plans, and a willingness to learn are a must
