Job description

MISSION & CONTEXT
• Ambition is to become the No. 1 in terms of customer focus within the sector, coupled with maximum internal efficiency.
• One of the main business processes in the bigger B2B customer journey is the ‘Join’, ‘Offering & Contracting’ process
• Initiatives to improve these processes are managed on a ‘Agile’ way and are delivered by a scrum team.
• Within B2B, a major transformation project is ongoing to replace the full offer calculation & document generation process, leading to the contracting process. To assist in the delivery of this project, a Project Test Analyst is required.
• We are looking for additional operational capacity for functional acceptance testing (single
user stories) and regression testing (E2E journeys) of business processes, across a
multiapplication landscape (Mecoms, SAP-ISU, Salesforce, calculation engine, …) but with focus on Salesforce developments.



DETAILLED TASKS

• The Test Analyst will be closely involved in the build activities of a scrum team and will play an important role in insuring that the quality of the new developments reach the company standards. Test Analyst will participate in most of the activities of the scrum team from an end user perspective, and work together with the Product Owner, Business Analysts, developers, Test Coordinator and co-Test Analysts.
• The Test Analyst will execute testing activities for specific processes in the customer journey (Join & Contracting) within a specific project of that is already ongoing but needs reinforcement in the testing capabilities and aiming to replace all B2B offering processes.
• The Test Analyst will ensure that alle prerequisites are met to allow testing to start:
o Sufficient and relevant test data are available for testing
o Test cases are created
o Estimation of test effort is performed.
• The Test Analyst will log test evidence as well as potential defects in JIRA. He/she will follow-up on defects and escalate issues when needed
• The Test Analyst will prepare and execute demo’s for new features and functionalities and liaise with the Test Co-ordinator and the End-to-end test team.
• The counterpart – existing Test Analyst on the project, will provide handover and on the job training for the journey in scope.



COMPETENCES & BACKGROUND


Based on engagement characteristics (timeline, activity complexity, content in scope, …),
expects the suggested profiles to meet the below criteria:
• Medior profile with a at least a few years relevant experience in similar missions.
• Strong ability to absorb large amounts of information in short period of time and apply that
knowledge throughout the day-to-day testing mission.
• Mature and holistic (technical) analysis skills
• Driving mindset and precise attitude with attention to detail
• Self-organized, proactive, result-driven and eager to learn.
• Solid communication skills in English and Dutch are required. French is a plus
• Deep understanding of utility market (retail) processes with a focus on the join & contracting Domain
• Affinity with CRM platform Salesforce (or similar) is mandatory
• Affinity with JIRA would be an asset
• Close collaboration with the testing community, scrum teams and other B2B testers
