Senior Cybersecurity Specialist / Senior Penetration Tester
About the Role
We are recruiting on behalf of a client operating in the financial sector for an experienced Senior Cybersecurity Specialist / Senior Penetration Tester. In this role, you will perform advanced offensive security assessments across critical IT environments, contribute to internal Red Team operations, and support incident response activities within a highly secure and complex infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
Perform penetration testing on:
* Network infrastructure
* Web and mobile applicationss
* Cloud environments
* Active Directory environments
* Execute internal Red Team engagements, simulating real-world attack scenarios (approximately 20% of the role).
* Support the Security Incident Response Team (SIRT) during security incidents by providing technical expertise
* Conduct malware analysis and digital forensic investigations when required
* Identify, validate, and document security vulnerabilities, including risk assessments and remediation recommendations.
* Produce clear technical reports and communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* Collaborate closely with cybersecurity, infrastructure, and application teams to strengthen the organization's security posture.
Your Profile
* Extensive experience as a Penetration Tester, Offensive Security Consultant, or Senior Cybersecurity Specialist
* Proven experience performing infrastructure, application, cloud, and Active Directory penetration testing
* Hands-on experience conducting Red Team engagements and adversary simulations.
* Solid understanding of modern attack techniques, exploitation methodologies, and post-exploitation activities
* Experience supporting Security Incident Response activitie
* Knowledge of malware analysis and digital forensics * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication and reporting abilities
* Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within multidisciplinary teams
Preferred Qualifications
* Relevant offensive security certifications such as OSCP, OSEP, OSWE, CRTO, GXPN, GPEN, or equivalent
* Experience working in highly regulated or critical infrastructure environments (financial services, government, utilities, or similar)
* Familiarity with industry-standard penetration testing frameworks and methodologies (OWASP, MITRE ATT&CK, NIST)
