Expert C Pro*C and Oracle SQL developer - Netcracker Rating and Billing Manager (RBM) Reference number: 2351

Job description

For an amazing company in international finance, we are looking for a senior C Pro*C and Oracle SQL developer - this is a longterm opportunity (*the person who is leaving was there for 17 years).

The main tasks for this role will be to optimize and implement upgrades/changes into the NetCracker Platform (Transactions billing).

The following activities will be supported:

- Run activities on platform supporting transactions billing
- Billing and pricing, New Economic model
- Upgrade of the Mediation

Features and support for transactions billing namely:

• business and development knowledge of transactions billing flow
• data input from the source production systems
• processing through the mediation platform
• processing through the Netcracker billing application
• feeding the output towards the invoice creation (CIMO)
• the posting into the financial ledgers
• data feeds into BI (Watch) applications

Required skills

• Expert in SQL scripting & Oracle and C Pro*C
• Expert in telecoms industry billing and pricing. Strong advantage if knowledgeable in finance messaging product portfolio and related pricing / billing set up
• Expert in NetCracker implementation. Strong advantage if knowledgeable in financial messaging product portfolio and related pricing / billing set up
• Being able to conduct functional analysis is an advantage
• Unix environment & Korn Shell (KSH)
